Hey, just an updatebefore I forget.
Some recently sold stuff I hadn't posted;
Bonus Wolf1 and Working Wolf1, both sold out of Tapu Te Ranga art gallery (thank you guys!)
Only one more Wolf to go in that series!
Here's a teaser of the latest work, my first painting in the last 18 months!
Cool, working to complete another pic before the exhibition gets under way.
Better get back to it then!

'Inspiration' art exhibition @ Wellinton
New exhibition at the Tapu Te Ranga gallery in Wellington has asked for a
painting or two in homage to inspirations of mine, quite a few to to
choose from!
I have a couple of works finished that fit the bill (Banana chew Grobin and Bubble Grobin) and will try for two more on top of that.
The gallery opening is set for the 14th Sept, come and have a look if you are able.
I'll post any work I get finished here in case you can't make it!

Taputeranga art gallery exhibition.
Hi guys, long time and all that.
I've been invited to show some of my more recent works at the Taputeranga art gallery in Wellington this month. Nice to be asked! =)
There are three other artists work along with the works of the two artist/curators Ian Logan and Rahul Gopinathan displayed at the gallery till mid April, not a bad spread of talent!
Heres a link to the Facebook page; Taputeranga gallery
and one to the gallery main page itself; Tapu-Te-Ranga gallery
If you happen to be in or around Wellington in the next week or so give it a look.
Stay frosty
Tim

Cliftons Art Prize 2012
Have just entered the Cliftons Art Prize for 2012, my first art contest/competition/whatever.
I finished a portrait of my wife a while ago and felt it best represented what I have enjoyed about painting so far;

Schools out
Had our last exhibition of the year last week, lots and lots of hard, frustrating work, lots of tears and a few tantrums.
My only advice to anyone considering a group showing of art is to show up right at the end when everyone else has finished all the actual work, grab a glass of bubbly, laugh with the punters; and enjoy it.
So thats it then, no more art school for me. One week back at work and I'm already missing it =(
Oh well...
Not sure what happens from here on. I'm told a degree comes my way at some point, and until then I'll just keep on keeping on with what I do best.
Which, of course, is over to you for validation =)
Oh yeah, and I sold this;
"Black over under Black" 2011
Mixed media on board
Ps; The second paragraph isn't what I actually consider the right approach, but often feel like doing.
