A painting from the previous exhibition in Wellington (the Edward Hopper inspiration)

A bit of a change from my usual colourful palette!

I'm not sure what the reception to this painting was like at the opening, lets just say I have been informed that it has since seen a lot of head tilting and furrowed brows! =)


If you're interested,  this is the original work (Hotel by the Railroad) by the late Edward Hopper, I just like it, I guess.

Also, I've started to sign my paintings with my name, after years of stenciling 'SixHawks' across them when finished. Hopefully it wont confuse anyone!
